Projects I Was Handling In The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)

• Early Childhood Challenges (Childhood Project)
• Kuwait Port’s Authority.
• Strengthen the Capacity of the Ministry of State for Parliament Affairs:
• Kuwait Judicial Institute project
• Umbrella projects: National Training Plan in IT and Gulf Center for Research Studies

Duties and responsibilities included:
• A member of the management team part of the decision making process (whether related to Programme matters or office in general),
• Formulating and managing grants in the fields of international relations, governance, women’s issues, human rights and health.
• Revising proposals and completing necessary documentation.
• Representing the country in different workshops, meetings and seminars.
• Networking with governmental and non-governmental organizations.
• Organizing local and regional meetings, workshops and seminars.
• Liaising with other field offices and departments.

• Visiting project sites and reporting on those visits in writing.
• Supervising and coaching four program staff members.
• Promoting relationships with governmental and non-governmental organizations.

B. 1999-2003:
Head of Occupational Health Department and head of the arbitration board.

• Duties and responsibilities included:
• Clinical - Fitness to work.
• Teaching the student of applied health since summer course about occupational health.
• Maintaining personal files and records of employees.
• Writing the yearly department report and analyzing the data.
• Meeting with applied health science deans and evaluating the policies for acceptance and health requirement and attending health and safety meetings
• Ensuring that employees receive training or certification as required
• Making all applicable health and safety information available to all employees entitled to receive

C: Head of The Research Unit 1998-1999

D: Head of The MCH Programme 7 years

• Suggested a polices for the MCH program for the country
• Conducted researches about patient satisfaction surveys
• Assessment need survey of Kuwait clinics after the liberation of the country
• Visiting clinics sites and reporting on those visits in writing.

E: PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT 3 YEARS

• Worked as a public health practitioner in Faiha Clinic
• Opened first office for public health in Maternal Hospital
• Worked as a head of the research unit in public health department 2 years
• Conducted a research about Chlamydia trachominatis in Kuwait

F: 1985-1988
Obstetric and gynecology Maternity hospital as assistant registrar

• Worked as obstruction in maternity hospital and I loved my job but I started to have problem with night duties because of my 2 small children and breast feeding

G: In the time of the invasion 1990-1991

• In august I worked as a volunteer assistant registrar in Maternity Hospital under Dr Faiza and after one month I fleeted Kuwait because I was threatened by Iraqi officer
• I worked in the UAE as a registrar obstetric and gynecologist in Alrashed hospital in Dubai, UAE.

• DrPh (Doctor of public health) in International Health and Development with concentration on Maternal and Child Health track, and health education track of International Health and Development, school of public health and Tropical Medicine, Tulane University 1999 dissertation: " a case control study on the length of interpregnancy interval and low birth-weight in Kuwait”.
• Mph School Of Public Health And Medical Science, Tulane University, State of Louisiana, USA 1992.
• MD Belgrade University, School of Medicine, Yugoslavia 1985.
